Student of the year Awards

Three students from Inishmagrath were among the five students nominated for the
Student of the Year Award
at the Prize-
STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2013
Kate Byrne was awarded the Student of the Year Award 2013.
Kate is the daughter of Christina and John Joe Byrne,
Liskellew, Drumkeeran.
Shannon O’Grady and Declan Flynn, pictured here with Kate,
were among those also nominated
for the Award.
Shannon won the Leaving Cert Student of the Year award.
Shannon is the daughter of Annette and Eamon O’Grady Jnr (Lugmeen)
and Declan is the
son of Anne Marie and Patrick Joseph Daly (Knockacousan).
The awards were presented in Lough Allen College
on Thursday, 23rd May.
That evening the Leaving Cert students celebrated their Graduation Mass
in St Brigid’s
Church, Drumkeeran.
The Mass, celebrated by Fr Gerard Alwill, was attended by,
College staff, families
of the students and
members of the parish community.
