Aoife

Festival Rose for 2013

Aoife McKenna

has been selected as the Drumkeeran Festival Rose for 2013.

The daughter of Christine and the late Gerard McKenna, Sheena,

Aoife was selected from a group of 15 local roses,

each sponsored by local shops and businesses.

The selection of the Festival Rose was the first event of the week-long
Drumkeeran Family Festival
which opened on Monday evening, August 19.

The large audience was thoroughly entertained by
Seamus Gallagher, compere for the evening,
and, in turn, by each of the Roses.
