Curates in Newbridge
(From 1900 to 1969)

Curates in Creevelea
(From 1969 to 2005)

On 23rd August 1969 the boundaries of
the parish of Inishmagrath were changed.

The Newbridge area was taken from the parish of Inishmagrath and was amalgamated with the parish of Ballinaglera.

The Parish of Killargue, which also contained Creevelea, was abolished.
The Killargue area was amalgamated with Drumahair
and the Creevelea area was amalgamated with Inishmagrath.

Below are the lists of priests who served as curates in Newbridge until 1969 and the priests who served as curates in Creevelea after 1969.

In 2005 the number of priests in Inishmagrath was reduced to one.
There is now no priest resident in the Creevelea area.
