Prayer by Fr. Kevin O’Gorman SMA: The Covid Prayer
God, our heavenly Father, grant us the fortitude of Christ your Son to face the Covid-
Give us the grace of the Holy Spirit to free us from fear and look forward together to the future with healing and hope.
May the intercession of Saint Joseph, the guardian of Jesus, with Mary his mother and Mother of the Church, guide is through this time of peril, preserve us in peace, protect the vulnerable, health care workers and all who serve society, at home and abroad.
Grace before the meal
Bless us, O God, as we
sit together.
Bless the food we eat
today.
Bless the hands that
made the food.
Bless us, O God.
Amen.

Prayer for Favourable Weather
God our Father, we turn to you, the source of all goodness and grace. We come before you with humble hearts, seeking your divine intervention in the rhythm of the seasons.
Bless us with the favourable weather which we so badly need at this time, especially for our farming community and all others whose livelihoods depend on it.
Grant them strength and perseverance in their work. In their labour may they find solace and fulfilment, knowing that their efforts contribute to the well-
Bless them with resilience in the face of challenges and grant them moments of peace amidst the storms of life. Help us, as faith communities, to support and uplift them, recognising the vital role they play in sustaining life.
Guide us, Lord, to be mindful stewards of the earth and compassionate neighbours to those who cultivate it. May your loving presence be a beacon of hope and strength for all.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Prayer for All who are sick.
Heavenly Father, I ask for your healing power to be upon all who are sick. Please touch all who are sick with your miraculous love and bring physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration. Help all who are sick to feel your presence and to find strength and courage to face each day. Please give all who are sick hope and peace in this difficult time, and help all who are sick to trust in your plan. I pray for your guidance and wisdom for the medical team, and for peace and comfort for all who are sick and all who love all who are sick. Amen.
