Diocesan Changes 2012
A number of priests who have associations with Inishmagrath
are involved in this year’s diocesan changes.

Fr Donal Kilduff, who came to Creevelea as a curate in 1984,
has been appointed Diocesan Secretary and Chancellor.
He will be working in Bishop’s House, Cavan.
He is currently curate in Ballyjamesduff.
He will become a resident priest in Kiildallan, near Ballyconnell, Co Cavan.

Many of the older folks in the area will remember Fr Jimmy Duffy.
He was a curate in the parish from 1953 to 1961.
Fr Jimmy, who had retired as PP of Ballinamore to become a curate, has now fully retired.

Three other priests are retiring.
Fr Brian McNamara (Killesher)
Fr Tom McKiernan (Templeport)
Fr Phil Brady (Laragh).

Fr John Phair, who was curate in Killargue from 1983 to 1988,
and who served as PP in Rosinver for the last 10 years,
has been appointed PP of Templeport (Bawnboy, Co Cavan).
Fr Phair will be replaced in Rossinver by Fr Patrick Farrelly, Kildallan.
