Student of the Year Awards
Three Leaving Cert students from the parish have won Student of the Year awards at the annual Awards Giving Ceremony in Lough Allen College.
Student of the Year
Megan Wynne
won the award for Student of the Year.
Megan is the daughter of Evelyn and Desmond Wynne, Drumkeeran.
The award was based on the assessment of college teaching staff.
Leaving Certificate Student of the Year
Alana Grogan
won the Leaving Certificate Student of the Year award.
Alana is the daughter of Ann and Damien Grogan, Corduff, Drumkeeran.
Her award was also based on the assessment of the college teaching staff.
Students’ Student of the Year Award
James Gallagher
won the Students’ Student of the Year Award.
James is the son of Pauline and Jim Gallagher, Townahoney, Drumkeeran.
As the title of the award suggests James’s fellow students chose him
as their Student
of the Year.
