Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form
You cannot get married until
you have signed
The Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form.
This Form is a legal document in Church law
and must be signed by all Catholics
who intend to marry in the Church.
To sign the Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form
you will have to visit your own parish priest.
For this visit you will need to have the all
documentation
as outlined on the "Required Documentation"
Page.
You should also have the names and address of your witnesses.
In the Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form you confirm
that you are free to marry your partner
and
you commit yourself
to the Catholic understanding
of the Sacrament of Marriage.
The Form will be signed by you and by the priest.
If you are getting married in another parish
the priest will forward the Form to the parish priest
of the church where the wedding will take place.
