Meeting the Civil Registrar

THE CIVIL REGISTRAR REQUIRES
THREE MONTHS NOTICE OF THE WEDDING

When you meet the Civil Registrar you will need to know.....

(a) the name of the priest who will solemnise the marriage
(b) the name of the church

It is therefore very important that you have already met with the priest
and agreed on these details before you make the appointment
to meet with the Civil Registrar.
