Parish Child Protection Policy

POLICY STATEMENT We in the Parish of Inishmagrath value and encourage the participation of children and young people in all diocesan and parish activities that encourage their spiritual, emotional, physical and social development.   While recognising the dignity and rights of all children, we will endeavour to do all in our power to create safe environments for children and young people in order to secure their protection and enable their full participation in the life of the Church. Parish Child Protection Representatives   The Parish Pastoral Council has appointed two parishioners to act as Parish Child Protection Representatives. They are Josephine White and Michael Keaveney.    Also related to Child Protection, the Parish Pastoral Council has approved (a) Policy Statement, (b) Code of Conduct and (c) Procedures.  These will be posted on the notice boards of all churches in the parish and here on the parish web site.
